Job Description
Job Title: Senior Medical Excellence & Governance Manager
Location: TWN – Taipei
Objective:
Lead the development and execution of Medical Affairs strategies and activities across Therapeutic Areas (TAs) in Taiwan. Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure medical excellence and governance, focusing on quality assurance and compliance with international standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Operations Leadership (35%):
Oversee local execution of Medical Affairs strategic plans.
Drive implementation and adherence to medical strategies and governance processes.
Support local teams in tracking and reporting activities and budget transparency.
Promote quality initiatives and continuous process improvement.
Capability Building (20%):
Strengthen medical affairs capabilities and provide medical leadership.
Ensure alignment of local strategies with global and regional plans.
Drive training and development for the medical team.
Compliance and Governance (20%):
Develop and enforce SOPs and compliance policies.
Lead integration of processes across functions to minimize risk.
Oversee quality management systems and support audits.
Clinical Research Guidance (15%):
Guide clinical research and diagnostic service activities.
Ensure governance and budget alignment for diagnostic programs.
External Partnerships (10%):
Develop strategies for external partnerships aligned with Takeda's R&D and commercialization goals.
Foster collaborations to enhance Takeda’s scientific image.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, or Biomedical Sciences; Ph.D. or M.D. preferred.
Minimum 5 years in healthcare industry, with 3 years in Medical Affairs or Clinical Operations.
Experience in medical governance, quality assurance, and strategic planning.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Travel Requirements:
As needed based on business demands.
