Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead our GI portfolio, specifically focusing on solutions for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in product management and a deep understanding of the IBD market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the product strategy, development, and commercialization efforts to ensure the success of our IBD products.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies for the gastroenterology segment, with a focus on IBD & pipeline products
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and positioning to align with business objectives.
  • Ensure global strategy is aligned with regional and local requirements to generate above market performance, to ensure successful commercial execution of brand strategy and marketing initiatives

Market and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Engage with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and customers to gather insights and feedback.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitive products, and industry advancements.
  • Utilize insights to inform product strategy and drive continuous improvement.

               Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to create effective product messaging and sales tools.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams to ensure successful product launches and market penetration.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of IBD products, from concept to obsolescence.
  • Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Implement strategies for product enhancements and extensions based on market feedback and performance data.

Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:

  • Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • All promotional activities and campaigns are in line with our compliance framework & SOP’s

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of product management experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on gastroenterology -Proven track record of success in managing products related to IBD or similar therapeutic areas.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
