Job Description
The Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Manager is involved in the development and strengthening of the ethics and compliance function in order to ensure the Company's ethical operational standards, as well as in the management of compliance risks that arise in the course of the Company's activities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Education: higher;
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of compliance (experience in an international pharmaceutical company is a plus);
- Experience in conducting investigations on a wide range of issues, including anti-corruption, fraud, conflict of interest;
- Special knowledge and skills:
- knowledge and understanding of current trends in the development of the pharmaceutical market,
- Basic knowledge of health system management,
- Expert knowledge of the legal framework governing relations in the field of healthcare,
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance concepts and techniques (strategies, controls, information analysis, reporting, and communication)
- knowledge of the procedure for supervision and control of compliance with regulatory requirements in the field of healthcare,
- Expertise in the development and implementation of compliance training programs.
- Fluency in English;
- Professional competencies: analytical skills, operational mindset, process management, excellent presentation and communication skills, ability to manage cross-functional projects, focus on achievements, openness to new things.
DUTIES
- Participates in the implementation of all elements of the Company's E&C program;
- Identifies areas of potential ethics and compliance risks and analyses potential impacts, develops action plans to address E&C risks, liaising with the legal department if needed;
- Develops /updates E&C policies, procedures and standards in accordance with the Company's global corporate requirements, business standards in the pharmaceutical and industrial sectors, analyzes their effectiveness, and monitors execution;
- Interacts with employees of the Company's divisions on policies and procedures related to compliance with legislation and business ethics in the field of healthcare, assists in explaining regulatory requirements, drafting and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs);
- Conducts analysis, continuous monitoring of the Company's internal business processes and selective audits, ensuring compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as ethical business standards adopted by the Company and the industry;
- Initiates and organizes corrective measures based on the results of monitoring and auditing, including cross-functional projects, to ensure the proper implementation of corrective measures in all divisions of the Company;
- Participates in and provides support in all types of audits carried out in the Company;
- Conducts internal investigations of cases of non-compliance with the requirements of the law and business ethics in the Company, records them in the appropriate corporate system, if necessary;
- Participates in the development and implementation of E&C training and events, advises the Company's employees on various E&C issues;
- Leads in complex cross-functional projects affecting compliance issues, participates in regional and global projects of the Company;
- Organizes meetings of the Ethics Committee (RECC) and preparation of protocols on its results – serves as the Secretary of the Committee;
- Represents the company in the Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (Ethics Committee), at international meetings on business ethics;
- Complies with the laws of the Russian Federation, the Company's compliance procedures and policies, the rules of business etiquette, and the ethical principles of doing business adopted by the Company and the pharmaceutical industry;
- Makes proposals to senior management to improve approaches to solving problems related to the Company's activities, performs individual tasks and instructions of the immediate supervisor as part of the work process that do not contradict this job description;
- Maintains and improves qualifications for the optimal performance of work duties, undergoes training organized by the Company;
- Complies with the rules and regulations established by the Company's internal regulations (orders, instructions, regulations, regulations, etc.).
