Job Description
About the Role
Takeda’s Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T) team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Health Specialist support key initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful patient-facing projects and explore the emergence of AI and its effective use within the pharmaceutical industry.
You will gain hands-on experience in software-based project management and building innovative health solutions for patients and healthcare professionals alike, from ideation to implementation and scaling. You will act as a product manager and subject matter expert, bridging clinical, regulatory, and technical domains to develop impactful digital health solutions.
The role requires autonomy, hands-on mindset and capabilities, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a flagship project and act as the lead product manager, by leading the:
Project management office, as a continuation of its current structure and work dynamic
Oversight of all different workstreams, with the help of the Digital Health Lead
Product development efforts, in coordination with key Takeda members (LOC, Global) and external vendors, with a special focus on user experience and compliance requirements.
In this capacity, the Digital Health Specialist will be intimately familiar with current LLM trends and publications and will liaise with Global Regulatory, Data Privacy, Compliance, IT team members, under the guidance of the Digital Health Lead, to define the appropriate technical and non-technical elements that will lead to a successful product build and deployment.
Provide general support by:
Providing expertise on digital health standards (e.g., FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC), clinical terminologies, and interoperability requirements.
Monitoring trends in digital health, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform product decisions and innovation roadmap.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Education: Degree in health informatics, biomedical engineering, computer science, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field. Formal training in product management is a plus.
Experience
At least 2 years of direct experience with digital health solutions.
Experience with conversational AI is desired.
Proven strong interest in healthcare
Skills
Business proficiency in English; other European languages are an asset
Exceptional attention to detail
Analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and summarize significant amounts of diverse information
Can easily shift between keeping a holistic overview of systems and work processes and detailed troubleshooting
Project Management skills and/or experience or training
Works autonomously, self-starter; learns quickly
Works effectively in team setting and matrix environment
