Job Description
Plasma-Derived Therapies Drug Product Development team delivers high-quality drug product for high patient impact, through theirstrong expertisein formulation development, drug-device combination product, and drug-device compatibility in close collaboration with the Medical Device team
How You Will Contribute:
The candidate will
Lead database developmentfor qualified devices in Takeda's Plasma Derived Therapy portfolio
Build a meaningful database structure/format, investigating, and summarizing the historical knowledge in Takeda for device qualification
Collect device information from global device vendors
Collaborate with Takeda internal and external stakeholders.
Internship Development Opportunities:
The summer intern will gain broader knowledge on device qualification for Pharm industry, with high exposure to stakeholders and external device leading vendors.
Job Requirements:
Basic knowledge of biomedical / device engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences
Familiarity with drug administration system devices,
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
Project management skills
Basic understanding of computer skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)
Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gathering
Highly reliable anda strong team player
Flexible with an attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be pursuing aUndergraduate, Graduate, or PhD Degree in Medical Device Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Material Sciences
This position will be Hybrid and require2-3 days in the Lexington office per week.
Internship Eligibility
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates(June 2nd- August 22nd)or(June 16th -August 29th)
The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

$21.00 - $46.00
The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
Paid sick time
Civic Duty paid time off

Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
