Job Description
About the role:

Join Takeda as a Senior Associate, TAU Business Operations and you will support the Therapeutic Area Unit (TAU) to manage and report on strategic business initiatives and activities critical to the efficient operations of the TAU.
Specific duties include:
Management of the processing of Health Care Provider & other consulting engagements, confidentiality disclosure agreements, Data Monitoring Committees & other advisory meetings, corporate sponsorships, and medical educational grants.
Logistical support for TAU owned Advisory Boards.
Project management of sponsorships and patient engagement events.
General operational support for GI TAU Administration and Infrastructure.
How you will contribute:
GI² TA Administration and Infrastructure:
Provides project management support for TAU-level general infrastructure and business operations projects/initiatives that may include:
GI² TAU Business Operations subject matter expert for Takeda systems and infrastructure, including but not limited to, PO creation & management systems, contracting systems, financial tracking systems, KPI tracking systems, etc.
Advisory boards and steering committees:
Project management, project coordination and facilitation, and agenda development support.
Meetings and Support: Virtual meeting attendance, development and management of Green Room.
HCP contracting, communication, E&C, legal and budgetary needs
Content and Reporting: support content development (pre-reads, slide deck, facilitator guide, IP review, etc. ) and development and finalization of the summary report.
Manage Departmental forums
Calendar- coordinate and schedule meetings and reviews accordingly to Charter guidelines, or ad hoc at the request of the forum Chairs
Coordinates documents and correspondence, including emails, presentations, reports, minutes, memos, according to Charter guidelines (e.g, timelines set-forth in the Charter)
Uses appropriate corresponding systems to facilitate review of documents, such as Teams, Please Review, SharePoint, etc., including uploading and downloading documents and reports
Manages and maintains templates, tools, rosters, distribution lists, charters, and other governance documents; acts as a central point of contact for these resources
Under the direction of the forum Chairs, teams with others to review and edit documents
Acts as a liaison in corresponding workstreams at the R&D enterprise level to represent the team and provide feedback on ways of working
Responsible for developing a network within the department & broader organization to direct individuals to the appropriate resources and departments.
GI² Grants and Sponsorships and Disease Awareness Campaigns
Support the GI TAU Business Operations Grants, Sponsorship and Disease Awareness Campaign lead.
Liaise and develop campaigns and events with internal and external business owners including but not limited to GPT business owner, patient organizations, etc.
Works with Legal to ensure appropriate agreements are drafted, negotiated and executed
Submits Purchase Order requisitions in accounts payable system and trouble-shoots any payment issues with Procurement
Tracks all planned and completed TAU sponsorships, grants and relevant advisory meetings and serves as liaison with Finance department, as required.
Contributes to development of GI TAU-sponsored communications (announcements, milestones/accomplishments, etc.)
Collaborates with Medical Affairs colleagues where applicable.
Contracting activities and consulting engagements:
Manage the contracts process for the TAU, interfacing directly with Ethics & Compliance, Procurement, Legal, and Finance, including processing, tracking and archiving in all appropriate systems (GEARS, LINC, ARIBA) according to local procedures and policies
May provide operational meeting planning support for Advisory Boards and Data Monitoring Committees, as designated
Serves as a liaison for Contracts, Legal, Compliance and independently resolves routine contractual issues within consulting agreements and service agreements, for designated programs
Manages transparency reporting reconciliation activities in accordance with U.S. Sunshine Act and/or local regulations
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Preferred to have Bachelor’s degree in business or communications or science related background with experience in business-related or event planning activities/support
3-5 years experience in the business-related or event planning-related support or biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience
Strong problem-solving and project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of collaborating with others to achieve goals
Ability to proactively identify business problems/ risks/issues and facilitate issue resolution and risk mitigation, and triage appropriately
Team-oriented, with effective and efficient mindset
Self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt to new environments/changes in environment
Demonstrated proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel & Word required, Microsoft Project experience is a plus; ability to learn new software/technical systems and trouble-shoot minor issues
Knowledge of Healthcare Compliance, including the U.S. Federal Sunshine Act, a plus.

84,000.00 - 132,000.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
