About the role:

Senior Regional Business Director – PI – Mountain meets or exceeds regional sales targets through leading a team of Territory Business Managers. You will oversee the tactical/operational daily activities of the sales team in the region while coaching and empowering for continuous improvement. You will develop and drive the implementation of team strategies to ensure the attainment of regionally focused objectives for our business. Report to the National Head of PI Sales, leading a team of seven Territory Business Managers in the Plasma Derived Therapies Business Unit - Primary Immunodeficiency who are responsible for calling on multiple physician specialties including Allergy/Immunology. Territory Consists of multiple states in the Mountain Region - AZ, CO, IA, ID, KS, MN, MO, MT, NE, NM, MD, SD, UT, WY, (tip of IL, most of Idaho).

How you will contribute:

  • Experience leading launch excellence of new therapeutic options

  • Drive the implementation of Brand strategies to ensure the attainment of National objectives

  • Adapt National strategies based on Regional Business Drivers and Influencers

  • Understand the complexity of and can lead a team through understanding and navigating the different channels and avenues that drive successful sales strategy in this environment

  • Plan, directs and controls the sales and business activities within the physician setting to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives

  • Collaborate with Patient Services, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access and National Accounts teams to establish strategic execution and pull through of contract opportunities within each geography

  • Manage external collaboration with key Specialty Pharmacy partners to maximize opportunity and ensure market access to Takeda's SCIG product portfolio

  • Prepare quarterly and annual regional forecasts and participate in the determination of market potential

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies and good organization/time management skills

  • Deal with all major channel accounts to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations

  • Partner with sales support and marketing in activities such as sales promotion and training

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare sales experience required. Advance degree preferred

  • Preferring a successful candidate that has strong management experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in the biotech field

  • Experience in navigating, selling and leading within the physician setting. With a strong understanding of the different environmental and market drivers of this customer segment

  • You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation, collaboration and presentation skills

  • Must have experience creating and implementing annual sales budgets and forecasts

  • You will be asked to demonstrate business acumen and knowledge of sales processes as well as strong leadership and decision-making abilities

  • Organize and maximize information on sales leads and integrate this information into the strategic sales plan

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record

  • Able to travel, 70%, including ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends

  • Must have authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$167,200.00 - $229,900.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
