Microsoft 365 Engineerは、技術的な深い理解に基づき全社Microsoft 365 環境の日々の管理および運用業務に責任を持ちます。グローバルチームとも協業し、グローバル標準のMicrosoft 365 環境を効率的かつ効果的に維持し、生産性向上のための利用促進を図ります。

主な職責

  • グローバル標準のポリシーやアーキテクチャ、ロードマップに沿ってMicrosoft 365環境を管理する
  • Microsoft365サービスが利用できることを保証するため、利用者のPCやモバイルデバイス上の設定を含めた環境を適切に管理する
  • チケットシステムから起票された利用者からの依頼や技術的な問題の解消にあたる
  • Microsoft 365環境を他のアプリケーションに統合するため、技術チームと連携する
  • システムの安全性、サービス利用状況、ライセンス利用量やパフォーマンスを監視し利用の効率化や最適化のためのアクションを推奨する
  • サービスプロセスやナレッジベース、利用者ガイドなどMicrosoft 365に関するドキュメントを作成/メンテナンスする

Microsoft 365 のエンジニアリング/管理業務

  • 業界標準のベストプラクティスに沿ってMicrosott365のソリューションを評価/導入し、M365のセキュリティ(機密性・完全性・可用性)を保証する
  • 組織内のMicrosoft 365 のライセンスやサブスクリプションを管理する
  • Microsoft 365に関する技術的な問題解消やサービス要求を満たすため、利用者に必要な技術的サポートを提供する
  • 対面、リモートセッション、チャットなど複数のチャネルを活用して利用者と直接コミュニケーションし、利用者の要望や問題事項を正確に把握する
  • Microsoft 365ソフトウェアを安全にインストール/構成/アップグレードする
  • Microsoft 365に関連する標準やポリシー・ベストプラクティスを理解し、社内環境がそれらに準拠している状態を保つ
  • 社内で提供するサービスやプロセスの標準を策定し、文書化する

IT Service Management(TIM)に沿ったサービス管理

  • IT Service Management のツール/プロセスに従い、Microsoft 365に関係するインシデントやサービスリクエストを管理/処理する
  • ITSM teamと連携し、ビジネス上の影響が最小となるようMicrosoft 365に関するシステム変更を計画/テストする。
  • インシデント/要求/変更管理のために必要なプロセスや文書を作成/維持する。

As Microsoft 365 Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations and administration of Microsoft 365 systems and infrastructure with advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 services. You will manage, maintain, and optimize global Microsoft 365 environment to ensure its efficiency and effectiveness.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage the global Microsoft 365 infrastructure complying with standard policies/architecture roadmaps

  • Ensure service connectivity and configurations on user's Laptops and Mobile devices.

  • Handle requests/incidents from end-users via ticketing system

  • Collaborate with other Technology team to integrate Microsoft 365 platform with other on-premises/cloud services.

  • Monitor system health, license capacity, service usage, and performance, and make recommendations for implementing improvements to optimize Microsoft 365 usage.

  • Develop/maintain Microsoft 365 related documents, such as service processes/Knowledge articles/End user guides

Core Elements Related To This Role:

Microsoft 365 Administration:

  • Ensure data integrity and security by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate Microsoft 365 hardware and software solutions utilizing industry standards and best practices.

  • Manage Microsoft 365 licenses, subscriptions, and users across the organization.

  • Provide technical support to end-users to resolve any issues and/or fulfill user's requirement related to Microsoft 365 services.

  • Interact with end-users directly to capture the user's demand via multiple communication channels, including face-to-face, remote session, and email/chat .

  • Deploy Microsoft 365 software installations, configurations, and upgrades across a diverse customer base.

  • Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, best practices, and configuration guidelines.

  • Develop and document standards and procedures for Microsoft 365 administration and maintenance.

ITSM Incident, Request, and Change Management:

  • Manage and respond to Microsoft 365 incidents and service requests using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and processes.

  • Collaborate with the ITSM team to plan/test Microsoft 365 related changes to minimize business disruptions complying with the standard change management policies.

  • Develop and maintain Microsoft 365 service processes and documents for incident, request, and change management.

  • Ensure timely resolution of Microsoft 365 incidents and service requests to meet the expected service level and minimize impact on end-users.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Japanese

  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 requirements and features

  • Designing, developing, and testing Microsoft 365 services and systems

  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation for Microsoft 365 administration

  • 3+ years of experience in administrating Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.

  • Driving a troubleshooting based on technical knowledge

  • Collaborating with end users and cross-functional technology teams.

  • Microsoft 365 best practices and governance

  • Knowledge of Enterprise, Solution, Platform, and Data Architecture Standards

  • ITSM incident, request, and change management processes and tools

  • Salary Increase: Annually, Bonus Payment: Twice a year

  • Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/ Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/ Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, (Narita) 8:30-17:15, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45

  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)
