Job Description

Baxalta US Inc., a Takeda company, is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer 2 in Social Circle, GA with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 3 years of related experience. Will accept any level of experience in the following skills: Ability to review, implement and verify PLC code of AB PLC control Logix, Siemens PLCs using the change control process; Create requirements, modify and upgrades of SCADA such as GE Proficy iFix, Factory Talk Studio HMIs using change management; Integrate the process equipment and applications with Plant Data Historian such as Proficy Historian, OSI PI Historian; Continuous improvement and enhancement of process equipment such as troubleshooting and replacement of Field equipment, Visual inspection systems; Understanding and designing of P&ID, Electrical drawings using AutoCAD and CAD software; Use relational databased for applications such as Microsoft SQL server and write queries the data from database for the control systems applications; Analyze, review and modification of Manufacturing OT Networks, VLANs, Firewalls, Network architecture and VM ware server infrastructures. 10% travel required. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite.
