Job Description

About the role:

As a Data Visualization and AI Engineer to lead and contribute to our AI transformation journey. This role focuses on building scalable machine learning and NLP solutions using Databricks, developing high-impact AI features, and enabling data-driven decision-making across business units. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy machine learning models into production systems while applying MLOps best practices.

How you will contribute:

Build and deploy machine learning models at scale using Databricks.
Develop NLP models/features to enhance existing technologies.
Pre-process raw data and perform feature engineering to support LLMs.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to operationalize AI solutions.
Implement MLOps best practices including version control, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
Continuously refine model accuracy and system performance.
Stay abreast of the latest in AI, NLP, and ML, including LLMs, Spacy, Hugging Face, etc.
As directed and assignment by management for projects and tasks.

What you bring to Takeda:

4+ years of experience in NLP & MLOps as a plus.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Experience with Databricks and AWS Data Lake.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Customer focused.
Key Stakeholders include: Plasma Derived Therapies BU, Internal Manufacturing sites, Manufacturing Sciences, Engineering, Quality, Global Digital & Data Sciences, R&D partners as well as external suppliers/partners like Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Business Excellence, Supply & Logistics, DD&T.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$99,500.00 - $156,420.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
