Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Based on rich professional knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry and other related industries, quickly conduct business insight and analysis based on business changes, and generate valuable analysis reports that can empower the business
  • Have closely communication with SFE and BUs, quickly understand business requirements, propose industry best practices, and convert business requirements into BI platform.
  • Through professional expertise in the BI platform, as the business leader, ensure business delivery, changes, training for business departments, and subsequent continuous changes on the BI platform.
  • Ensure the logical correctness of business data, the rationality of system integration, and process optimization through the integration of business data and system.
  • As business owner to support the creation of conceptual models, combination models, taxonomy analysis and multi-source data fusion for corporate information platform from business angle.
  • Act as the interface between the business insight team and the DD&T personnel supporting the creation of flexible databases allowing profiling the information under different perspectives.
  • Identifies opportunities for new technology capabilities and implementation of technology-specific development processes and standards.
  • May support systems development with user services, including problem resolution and ensuring delivery of expected performance and availability.

Qualifications & Skills:

Level of Education

Bachelor Degree or above in preferred IT background. MBA preferred

Working Experience in Relevant Field

  • 8+ years of Information Technology Experience, and 5+ years of hands-on experience in Business Insight solutions. (Plus as SFE related role)
  • Solid technical understanding of data warehousing including management reporting design and management.
  • Experience with SQL Server/Oracle is essential
  • Experience with data analytics tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
  • Good knowledge with data modeling, including multi-dimensional modeling, ETL, and metadata development.
  • Experience with big data solution is preferred. 
  • Experience with on-cloud BI solution is preferred 
  • Experience with CRM tools is a plus
  • Understanding of project management and PMP is a plus.
