Automation Engineer Solutions and Systems (all genders)
In this function you are responsible for ensuring the technical availability of all automation systems and components in the production areas and logistics. You will support the maintenance team in analyzing and solving complex automation problems and lead small projects as part of lifecycle management.
In this position you will report to the Head of Automation Engineering.
How you will contribute:
Responsible for technical availability, adaptation to operator requirements and life cycle management of automation systems and components
Development of and compliance with data protection and archiving strategies
Planning and organization of periodic backups, archiving and recovery tasks as well as organization of patches, updates and upgrades for existing OT systems
Creation of service requirements and service level agreements as well as management and support of external employees within the scope of their responsibility
Creation of guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training documents as well as organization and implementation of training for employees
Development of optimization solutions and concepts for the optimization and standardization of the existing automation technology and process controls
What you bring to Takeda:
University or technical college degree (diploma or master's degree) in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology or similar
Relevant engineering experience in OT and automation technology
Experience in obsolescence management and in the application of life cycle planning methods and tools
Good overview of the area of data integrity and data security: Knowledge of data backup and archiving systems is desirable
Knowledge and experience in PLC and SCADA systems (Siemens, GE, B&R) interface technologies, network solutions and virtual environments
Knowledge of SAP and GMP is an advantage
Very good knowledge of English is required, German is an advantage
