For Takeda Finland we are looking for a Finance Business Partner who will play a pivotal role in driving Takeda’s financial performance and supporting strategic business decisions and initiatives. By integrating financial expertise with strong business acumen, people in this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial analysis, insights, and solutions that align with Takeda’s values and growth objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performance Delivery and Strategic Partnership:

    • Deliver performance objectives aligned with Takeda’s values.

    • Provide accurate and meaningful financial information to support business decisions and initiatives.

    • Partner closely with cross-functional teams and act as a proactive challenger to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.

    • Support Business Unit Directors, Local Leadership Team, and Nordics Region Finance with strategic planning, investment, budgeting, and forecasting.

    • Participate in development of strategic initiatives and organization wide standardizations, such as KAM Academy, systematic measuring of sales excellence as well as Insights & Analytics workstream.

  • Data, Digital, and AI Integration:

    • Enhance the usage of data, digital tools, and AI solutions in financial processes.

    • Drive the Insights & Analytics capability at local entity level and promote an environment that embraces technological advancements.

    • Ensure high data quality and timely submission of financial information for strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and period-end closings.

  • Leadership Support and Collaboration:

    • Establish a strong network within the business to provide high-quality financial information to internal stakeholders and be inspired to communicate financials in various meetings as well as in local town halls.

    • Assume ownership of Finance Business Partner responsibilities for our three business units and partner with Business Unit Directors on target setting, actuals reporting, KPIs monitoring, and business reviews.

    • Proactively drive Nordic collaboration by engaging in co-creation and demonstrating a One Nordic mindset and enterprise thinking.

  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

    • Foster an environment of continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.

    • Support the development and implementation of operational and financial objectives and strategies.

    • Lead the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of annual budgets, mid-range plans, and mid-year forecasts.

SKILLS AND KEY CAPABILITIES

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or similar roles, with a university degree in business and economics.

  • Proficiency in digital tools and SAP, with experience in AI and continuous learning and development.

  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to challenge performance and drive robust discussions through financial analysis.

  • Excellent cross-functional teamwork abilities and collaboration across local, Nordics, and Europe & Canada regions.

  • Strong business acumen, curiosity, and passion for learning about the business, environment and leadership skills.

  • Strategic enterprise thinking to drive innovation and business development.

  • Proactive and independent worker with the ability to initiate improvements.

  • Extensive knowledge of relevant business-related matters such as tender and pricing, product launches, and competition.

  • Robust finance expertise to ensure compliance and process improvements.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effectively delivering messages.

  • Ability to perform in ambiguous situations, support decisions in dynamic environments and timely accept leading also with an element of some uncertainty.

  • Structured working approach with a commitment to deadlines and high-quality results.
