The MBA/Post-graduate intern will examine how to measure R&D productivity in two ways:
First, examine traditional measures and calculations used within the pharmaceutical industry such as IRR to measure the return from pharmaceutical innovation and NME’s approved per period of time versus peers.
Second, undertake a broad cross functional collaboration with Senior Leaders across Takeda R&D and Research to propose alternative ways to measure R&D productivity at Takeda or find intermediate measures that can project R&D productivity in the future.
The MBA/Post-graduate intern will work with team members from the R&D Investor Relations and Global Portfolio Strategy to gather data and conduct interviews.
