THE OPPORTUNITY:
The ERP/SAP IBP-Supply planning consultant-Junior will:
Work on global transformational projects, local deployment projects or IBP factory change requests primarily in area of SAP IBP Supply planning.
Support the development and definition of the strategy for the product line capabilities by proactively identifying changes in business and the technology landscape, that would impact the ERP portfolio and developments through the lifecycle(SAP APO,SAP IBP, SAP ECC, SAP Cloud Platform).
Ensure integrated design, build and deployment and operations of responsible Supply chain planning product line. Ensure that dependencies are understood, managed and communicated.
Ensure business continuity through operational and service excellence of responsible product lines.Work with internal teams and customer service to identify, classify, and prioritize feature-level customer issues
Partner with leaders within the business and countries, possess strong knowledge of both business and technology, to drive SAP planning solutions to harmonization, optimization and operational excellence of the ERP Services
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
A solid business understanding of supply planning processes, combined with hands-on SAP configuration experience. Candidate should understand integration points and dependencies between the SAP IBP Supply planning components and other SAP ECC, S/4 HANAor SAP APO modules.
Participate in the design of roadmapsfor product line, ensuring integration into the overall product management roadmap and release plans (SAP APO, SAP IBP, SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Cloud Platform) and raising any issues related to the critical path of the product to the Product Owner, SCM SAP managers and ERP Platform counterparts..
Participate in the definition of user requirements, user stories, functional/technical specifications and the update/review of Design Papers and process flows. Work closely with the key business and IT stakeholders and third-party providers to deliver new application solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
Act as the ‘go to’ SCM IBP Supply planning specialist for stakeholders and liaison/driver for business community. Possess strong knowledge of both business and technology regardingSAP SCM Planning solutions and developments.
Lead resolution of complex problems with a global impact on the business and identify opportunities to streamline business and/or layered system processes and ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices.
Actively engage with the release and engagement teams, major programs ensuring active adoption and deployment of product line capabilities. Support active engagements and continuous improvement as required.
Ensure alignment with Business Process Owners and IT Business Partners to drive engagement, process design, prioritization and deployment support across the respective areas
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Commerce or equivalent.
Working experience from major consulting companies focusing on implementation of SAP IBP
Minimum of 1-2years of practical consulting experience in SAP IBP – Supply Planning (Time Series and Order Based Planning) with hands-onconfigurationexperienceusingoptimization and deep domain knowledge of SAP IBP-Supply Planning Capabilities
Experience with at least 1 full SAP Lifecycle Implementations (either full or partial involvement)
Understand and document process flows, integration points, forms, workflow requirements impacting areas of responsibilities and collaborate with team (process leads, vendors, solution integrators etc.) to clarify vision, scope, and capabilities
Willingness to learn new and innovative solutions.
Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize requirements, cost estimation/economics,develop workflow processes and manage business relationshipsaltogether with ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
Experience with SDLC methodology, including tasks like developtest cases, execute test plans, log defects, develop functional design specifications including workflow, validation, and logic requirements. Ensure designs can be traced back to requirements
Experience in working with multiple teams across matrixed organizationin various locations to implement solutions.
In special cases, willingness to travel (usually 1-2 weeks during Fit & Gap design phase or UAT testing/Training phase) or work in different time zone, during mentioned phases.
Desired:
Basic knowledge and understanding and practical consulting experience with SAP IBP Demand planning or SAP IBP Inventory optimization is welcomed.
Basic functional, configuration and/or development experience in SAP APO (in at least one of the following modules: SNP, PP/DS) is a great bonusindludingminimum of 1 years of SAP functional, configuration and/or development experience in SAP ECC (CIF, MRP).
Practical experience with projects involving SAP S/4 HANA
Pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience
