The Opportunity

As a Junior Data Integration Engineer, you’ll develop API and Data driven solutions utilizing current and next generation technologies to meet evolving business needs. You will develop application systems that comply with the standard system development methodology and concepts for design, programming, backup, and recovery. You will have an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art cloud technologies (AWS cloud provider, integrating with Salesforce, exposure to DevOps technologies, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to determine programming approach, tools, and techniques that best meet the business requirements.
• Be pro-active and diligent in identifying and communicating design and development issues.
• Develop real-time data ingestion, stream-analytic and API solutions leveraging technologies such as MuleSoft, Python, Java, and AWS.
• Collaborate with more senior team members to implement feedback on pull request reviews.
• Write unit and integration tests for all application code.
• Collaborate with agile team members to craft clear user stories and continuously deliver product increments.
• Estimate work based on user stories and functional requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information technology; or relevant work experience.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience in developing backend solutions
• Experience with modern (Java, Python, etc.) programming language
• Experience or aptitude to learn new technologies, especially MuleSoft
