About the role:

Plasma-derived therapies are critical, life-saving medicines, which patients with rare and complex diseases around the world rely on every day. Global demand for these therapies, particularly immunoglobulins, has increased dramatically over the last 15 years, and continues to grow. Takeda is established as second largest provider of plasma-derived therapies (PDT) globally. Leveraging on 75+ year pioneering legacy, Takeda believes there is tremendous potential to do more to meet expectations of patients and health care providers with plasma-derived therapies for patients with immunologic, hematologic, autoimmune and other complex diseases.

This PDT role will provide expertise on global Takeda and Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T). You will manage the operational support for PDT applications, devices, and analytics. Based in our Bannockburn, IL office, you will report to the PDT DDT Operations Lead.

How you will contribute:

• Oversee the daily operations for PDT applications, Analytics, Device Management

• Manage the PDT Major Incident Management calls

• Review the performance, operational metrics to provide recommendations on architecture, automations

• Assess and manage Operational risks

• Manage IT vendors and SLA’s, review the complaints to enhance the code. Plan and prioritize application maintenance

• Flexible to have meetings with the product team to discuss and close the process and issues

• Onboard training for application updates to L1/L2/L3 support team

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Operations managerial experience

• Experience with .Net, C#, AWS, Kubernates, IIS, APIs, DevOps, Salesforce, and Postgres SQL

• Experience in Agile, Scrum methodologies

• Experience providing end-to-end application platform support working in regulated industry

• Experience facilitating driving major incident bridges

• Experience supporting application and infrastructure function in retail and life sciences oriented environment

• Experience working with and training IT third-party vendors
